Rochelle graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Health Science, Masters of Physiotherapy Practice.
Rochelle is a keen middle distance runner and experienced quite a lot of success as a junior 800m runner, the highlight of this being a silver medal winning performance at the 2011 Commonwealth Youth Games. This involvement in sport led to several first-hand experiences of injury, and consequently Rochelle developed a keen interest in injury rehabilitation and prevention.
After graduating, Rochelle returned to university to complete her Masters in Exercise Science (Strength and Conditioning) at Edith Cowan University. Rochelle has since spent time working with athletes from many different sporting backgrounds, helping to bridge the gap between physiotherapy and strength and conditioning. Rochelle recently had the honour of being a travelling physiotherapist with the World Under 20 Athletics team for their major championships held in Lima, Peru, which was a real career highlight and combination of both her major passions, athletics and physiotherapy.
In 2020, Rochelle commenced working with the world- renowned La Trobe Sport and Exercise Medicine Centre to help create a tendon rehabilitation guide for FC Barcelona. Rochelle has since commenced a part-time lecturing role at La Trobe University; however she remains passionate about clinical work and enjoys working with people from all walks of life to get them back to their best.
