Nikki graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science and Master of Physiotherapy Practice from La Trobe University. Nikki has an interest in the areas of sporting injuries, athletic development and paediatrics. Nikki is passionate about helping her patients achieve their goals, whether that be returning to work, sport or improving performance.

 

Nikki grew up in regional Victoria where she was involved heavily in sport. Nikki played, coached and umpired a range sports including netball, football, basketball, tennis and swimming. During her studies, Nikki was Head Trainer for her local football netball club. She developed management techniques for a range of acute sports related injuries which helps her in her practice today. One day, Nikki aspires to work with elite level athletes.

 

As well as being a physiotherapist, Nikki is a pilates and fitness instructor. She integrates both traditional and reformer pilates techniques into her rehabilitation advice. Her time in the fitness industry has allowed her to gain experience in athletic development and attain a develop an extensive knowledge base of exercises to prescribe to her patients based on their personal needs and goals. 

Nikki still currently plays Australian Rules Football. It has taken her all over the country, including Northern Territory where she worked as an Allied Health Assistant with paediatrics, igniting her passion in this area.
