Lewis Butterfield-Tucker
PHYSIOTHERAPIST
Qualifications
BAppSc, MPhysioPrac

WC AFLW with M.W (3).jpg

Lewis graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Applied Science and Master of Physiotherapy Practice. Through exposure at university and part-time work as a disability support worker, therapy assistant and trainer for local and elite AFL/AFLW football clubs, Lewis has gained experience working with patients from a diverse range of backgrounds, ages and abilities.

Lewis’ interest in physiotherapy began as a passion for all things sport. Lewis participated in most activities as a kid, including football, soccer, tennis, cricket and swimming. However, this variety now means he is a ‘jack of all trades and master of none’ in the sporting world.

Lewis also has a particular interest in lower limb injuries, due to his personal experience with knee injuries and his frequent exposure working with footballers.

Lewis is currently the VFL Rehabilitation Physiotherapist at North Melbourne and has worked in AFL as a physiotherapist and sports trainer with North Melbourne, Brisbane Lions and the West Coast Eagles. Being avid Collingwood supporters, his family is not impressed…

Outside of work, Lewis enjoys keeping fit in the gym and playing golf with friends (despite taking several swings to connect with the ball).
