Lyndsey Upton
PHYSIOTHERAPIST

Qualifications
 

Lyndsey initially completed a Bachelor of High-Performance Sport at the Australian Catholic University before completing a Masters of Physiotherapy from Swinburne University. Lyndsey works as a sports trainer for Melbourne University Football Club in the VAFA. She has experience working with the athletic and paediatric population and remain her primary interests.

Lyndsey grew up in regional Victoria where she was heavily involved in sport. She was a competitive gymnast for 13 years, competing at state level. Beyond her gymnastics career, Lyndsey continued to coach young gymnasts to help them reach their goals. This long stint in the gymnastics world inspired Lyndsey's passion for physiotherapy, particularly helping young athletes get back into their passion. 

 

As well as being a physiotherapist, Lyndsey is a qualified strength and condition coach. She uses this base of knowledge to prescribe individualised rehabilitation programs based on her client's needs and goals.

Outside of work, Lyndsey keeps fit by going to the gym and going on frequent walks, she also enjoys keeping up with footy and is an avid Hawks supporter.
